Mishawaka Firefighters Charity Bass Tournament
This years tournament day was a sunny beautiful day that also brought strong south west winds gusting to 34mph, and a temp of 81 degrees. We had 52 out of 60 teams bring fish to the scales for weigh in. The winning team caught their fish on green pumpkin D’s tubes and green pumpkin yum dingers fished around wood cover and shallow weeds. Other teams in the top 10 stated that they were catching fish on buzz baits (1/8oz), wacky worms, tubes and jig & pig around wood.
We had a full field of 60 teams fishing our charity tournament this year. I would like to say thank you to all the teams that supported us this year, and all of our sponsors for making this year one of our best ever. Thanks to them we were able to raise $1349.00 for our children’s charities this year.
